Twilight is the blurred line between day and night. The day is silently replaced by the night and it returns fluently into the morning light. Where exactly does the day end and where does the night begin. The artwork “You have to walk slowly to stay in the light” searches within our sensory perception of light for this barely tangible line. 

The light installation simulates twilights in other geographical locations in real time. It starts after the sunset on site and also ends with the real sunrise. The exact locations and duration of each sunrise and sunset are shown in the graph. In December 2018, the work had a total duration of 14.5 ­hours daily.
